Our Trainings from 2021 and Before


 THE 2ND INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS OF BASIC EDUCATION (UTEK2019) WAS HELD, HOSTED BY OUR CENTER DIRECTORATE
 
The 2nd International Congress of Basic Education (UTEK2019) was held in the atmosphere of a scientific feast between October 23-27, 2019, at La Blanche Island Bodrum Hotel in the Pina Peninsula, Bodrum district of Muğla. The event was hosted by the Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Faculty of Education and the Child Education Application and Research Center, with the partnership of national and international universities. Interest and participation were quite high in the congress, which was held with the main theme of "2023 Education Vision and Future Quests in Basic Education." Additionally, the 1st National Preschool Workshop and the 9th National Classroom Teaching Workshop were held simultaneously with the congress, bringing together the participants.
The high level of interest shown by our teachers regarding participation in the congress was welcomed with great pleasure. The abstract and full text books of the papers presented at the congress can be accessed via the links below.
 
We would like to thank our MSKU Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin ÇİÇEK, who supported the realization of the congress, our Dean of the Faculty of Education Prof. Dr. Bilal DUMAN, the Chairman of the Organizing Committee Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sabri SİDEKLİ and all members of the Organizing Committee. We also extend our gratitude to all institutions and organizations whose support we frequently witnessed, our esteemed professors who contributed as speakers and panelists, our guests who shared their knowledge, and our valuable students who took part and performed their duties admirably.


 

 CHILDREN OF LOVE AT THE UNIVERSITY OF LOVE...

The project titled "CHILDREN OF LOVE AT THE UNIVERSITY OF LOVE..." was carried out between July 17-19, 2019, with the participation of children staying in Children's Homes (Sevgi Evleri), through the cooperation of the academic staff of our Center Directorate, our University, the T.R. Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Services, and the Muğla Provincial Directorate of Family, Labor and Social Services. Within the scope of the project, many activities such as creative drama, values education, STEM education, University and Faculty introductions, coding training, origami, orienteering with QR codes, story writing training, paint and trace with Quiver Vision, Napier's bones workshop, cup tournament, area measurement with geometric shapes, traditional games, and cinema screenings were carried out. The participating children had quality time, having fun while learning. Furthermore, the children left quite satisfied, stating that they loved our university and professors very much. We would like to thank our Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin ÇİÇEK, Muğla Provincial Director of Family, Labor and Social Services İlkay TÜRKOĞLU, the valuable personnel of the Provincial Directorate, and all our professors who worked with great devotion for their support in the realization of the project.








 
 

 ACADEMIC STAFF OF OUR CENTER DIRECTORATE AT THE TÜBİTAK 4007 PROJECT

Our Center Directorate supported the TÜBİTAK 4007 Muğla Science Festival Project, prepared by the R&D Unit of the Muğla Provincial Directorate of National Education, as instructors in various fields. In the project activities, which were held with wide participation at the Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk Cultural Center between April 10-12, 2019, our Center Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sabri SİDEKLİ served as an instructor in the workshop titled "NOW WRITING IS EASY: I MODEL, I WRITE"; our Center Vice Directors Asst. Prof. Dr. Özkan ÇELİK in "I AM HAVING FUN WITH DRAMA" and Asst. Prof. Dr. Sayım AKTAY in "NOW I CAN CODE TOO"; our Board Member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Maide Orçan KAÇAN in "CREATE A PATTERN"; and Res. Asst. Sedat ALTINTAŞ in the workshop titled "TEACHING MATHEMATICAL CONCEPTS WITH WEB 2.0 TOOLS: TEACHER TRAINING".
